Defining Teams

In Deep Planner, teams are the main performers and planning actors.
Think about team resources as people who complete the job.

Example: You hired a development team that consists of the following people:

  • Kevin: Backend software developer who can work full time.
  • John: Front end software developer who can work full time.
  • Angela: Business analyst who can work full time.
  • Rebecca: QA engineer who can work part time.

Your configuration defining teams could look like this:

You can add one or more teams to the roadmap, and the work will be distributed between their load and capacity.

What is ‘Domain Area’?

Activity Type is a nature of work that teams can be performing. Examples include development, business analysis, testing, marketing research, and more.
